No. GlowUp ACS does not charge interns any fees to participate in our programs. There are no application fees, placement fees, or hidden costs. Our internships are designed to provide access to real-world experience without creating financial barriers.
We require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. Through experience, we’ve found that fewer hours significantly reduces what participants are able to learn, contribute, and take away from the program. This minimum ensures interns gain meaningful, resume-worthy experience.
The standard commitment is one academic semester. However, interns who remain in good standing are welcome to continue beyond their first semester, subject to availability and mutual agreement. Many participants choose to stay longer to deepen their experience.
You don’t need to “pick shifts” day by day. Instead, you provide your general availability, and we assign consistent working times that fit within those boundaries. This approach helps balance flexibility with realistic professional expectations.

Interns submit their own availability and unavailability during onboarding. From there, we schedule shifts within the time windows you’ve identified as reasonable. This allows flexibility while still maintaining structure, accountability, and team coordination.
Yes, we offer evening and weekend appointments to fit your schedule. We strive to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs.
