Our Story

why glowup acs exists

Every year, thousands of students and recent graduates face the same contradiction: employers demand experience, but no one will hire them without it. GlowUp ACS was founded to break that cycle. We’re a New Jersey 501(c)(3) nonprofit that combines structured internship training with real consulting work—so students build portfolios while organizations get the support they need.

Our process

From application to impact, GlowUp ACS follows a structured, transparent process that connects learning with real-world results. Whether you’re an intern or a partner organization, every step is designed for clarity, collaboration, and growth.

APPLY & MATCH

Students apply for internship positions and organizations apply for consulting support. We review alignment, goals, and availability to ensure a strong fit—then match interns with departments based on their skills and growth areas.

ONBOARD & PLAN

Interns complete structured onboarding through our LMS training modules. Partner projects are scoped, timelines are set, and teams are assembled. Everyone starts with clear expectations, documented workflows, and consistent support.

BUILD & DELIVER

Interns work on real projects with guidance and mentorship. Partners receive meaningful, usable deliverables. Everyone leaves with tangible outcomes—experience, impact, professional growth, and momentum to carry forward.
