Many of our educational programs and volunteer opportunities are unpaid because they're designed around mentorship, skill development, and nonprofit service. Any compensation details will always be clearly stated on the individual opportunity page.
Most of our opportunities are fully remote, allowing participants to collaborate from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Some special events or partnerships may include optional in-person participation.
Not always. Many opportunities are designed specifically for individuals who are looking to gain experience. Requirements vary by role, but motivation, reliability, and a willingness to learn are often more important than an extensive resume.
Most opportunities begin with an online application followed by a review process. Depending on the role, applicants may be invited to an interview, skills discussion, or onboarding session before joining their team.
Depending on the opportunity, participants may receive career support such as resume reviews, LinkedIn guidance, portfolio development, interview preparation, references, or continued involvement within the GlowUp ACS community.
